The 4K+ Action Camera will be on show alongside other key products in the range

BARCELONA - MWC 2017 – February 26, 2017 – YI Technology, the leading international provider of advanced, intelligent imaging technologies, has announced it will demonstrate its newest product, the YI 4K+ Action Camera, for the very first time in Europe during Mobile World Congress 2017.

YI will be presenting the 4K+ alongside other key products in the range during this year’s MWC event, which runs from 27 February — 2 March, 2017. It is the largest gathering in the world for the mobile industry, and will be the first time that the YI 4K+ has been showcased at a European trade show.

The YI 4K+ Action Camera is the first action camera capable of capturing 4K video at 60 frames per second — double that of competitor products. It also has many improvements compared to its predecessor, the YI 4K, including 120mbps bitrate for high-quality video, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) support, live streaming, vastly improved outdoor audio, and virtual reality grade hardware and software implementations. The YI 4K+ Action Camera is also the first camera to include an Ambarella H2 SOC processor.

The YI Erida, the world’s fastest tricopter drone, will also be displayed for the first time in Europe at MWC 2017. The YI Erida is a full carbon smart drone, which combines strength, speed and YI’s 4K Action camera in a unique, three-rotor design that’s simple enough for the first-time drone user.

Due to the highly durable and lightweight nature of the Erida’s carbon frame and streamlined design, YI Technology’s first consumer drone is exceptionally fast and agile, reaching speeds of up to 75 miles per hour and flying for up to 40 minutes in initial tests. The Erida’s patented, folding rotors allow for a compact design that makes it portable and easy to carry, while the accompanying YI Erida mobile app makes it easy to control the drone without the need for a remote control. It also includes an advanced sensor and radar system with a built-in laser scanner for maximum safety.

In addition to the 4K+ Action Camera and Erida drone, YI Technology will demonstrate its full line-up of connected imaging technology solutions, including:

·       YI 1080p Dome Camera: A 360-degree, smart home security camera, which follows moving objects, detects the crying of babies and provides two-way audio.

·       YI M1 Mirrorless Camera: First announced at Photokina, the M1 is the world’s best connected mirrorless camera that shoots like a professional camera and shares like a smartphone. It features a Micro Four Thirds body and is compatible with more than 50 interchangeable lenses.

   YI Dash Camera: Designed with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), the YI Dash Camera analyzes data, such as speed and the distance of the vehicle in front of you, and sends the user real-time audio alerts in the event of straying from a lane or driving too close to a vehicle.
