Please check whether alert is turned on in the Settings. Also please be noted that the alerts are sent to your phone via internet so both the connection speed of your phone and the camera where it is directly connected to are important for the timeliness of the alert. Alert mechanism has a cooling period so please try pause the movement for a few minutes then check if alert starts working again.
